MARBLE BATHTUBS
Cleaning:
l Daily/After Use:
Wipe down the bathtub with a soft, dry cloth to remove water and soap residue.
l Weekly Cleaning:
Use a soft cloth and a mild, pH-neutral soap diluted in water. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scrub brushes.
l Stubborn Stains:
For light stains, a damp cloth may suffice. For stubborn stains, consider a diluted, non-corrosive stone cleaner.
l Deep Cleaning:
If necessary, use a specialized natural stone cleaner, following the product instructions carefully.
Prevention:
l DO NOT use any abrasive cleaning materials or cleaning pads.
l Regularly seal your marble bathtub to protect it from staining and water damage. A professional can reseal if needed.
l Clean up spills and stains as soon as possible, especially acidic substances like wine, coffee, or lemon juice.
l Use a soap dish to prevent direct contact of soap with the marble, which can cause discoloration or damage.
CRYSTAL TUBS
Cleaning
l Use mild, non - abrasive cleaners (such as liquid dish soap or specialized acrylic/crystal cleaners) and a soft sponge or microfiber cloth to wipe the surface.
l Rinse thoroughly with warm water after cleaning to remove any cleaner residue.
l For tough stains, soak a soft cloth in warm water with a small amount of mild cleaner and lay it on the stain for a few minutes before gently wiping.
Protection
l Do not use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or steel wool, as they can scratch the crystal surface.
l Avoid using harsh chemicals like bleach, ammonia, or acidic cleaners (such as vinegar), which can damage the material.
l Do not place heavy or sharp objects directly on the tub, as they may cause cracks or scratches.
l Never leave wet towels or bath mats in the tub for extended periods, as this can lead to mold or mildew growth and potentially discolor the surface.
COPPER TUBS
Cleaning
l Wipe dry with a clean soft cloth after each use.
l Wash the copper bathtub with mild soap and water. Dry with a clean, soft cloth.
l Apply a copper wax onto the surface every 15-20 days to maintain the original finish.
Protection
l Avoid putting hot pans, rubber mats or sponges in the sink. It may cause discoloration.
l Do not use copper or silver cleaners or any abrasive or harsh chemicals such as acid, bleach, etc.
l If your home is located in a hard water area, the copper product must be dried after each use to prevent deposit buildup.
CAST IRON TUBS
Cleaning
l A mild, non-abrasive cleanser is recommended to keep your tub in top form.
l Opt for soft cloths, microfiber towels, or sponges instead of steel wool or abrasive scrubbers.
l Rinse thoroughly and use a soft cloth to wipe the product dry after each use.
l Rubbing lemon oil into the tub can help prevent soap scum buildup.
Protection
l Do not use steel wool, wire brushes, or abrasive sponge pads. Use only nonscratch cleaning pads.
l Be careful not to leave dirty dishes, coffee grounds, tea bags, or other staining material in contact with the glazed surface for extended periods of time.
l Ensure the drain is clear to prevent standing water and soap scum buildup.
STAINLESS STEEL TUBS
Cleaning
l Use mild dish soap or stainless steel cleaners with a soft cloth or sponge to wipe the surface.
l For water spots, wipe with a damp cloth and dry immediately with a microfiber towel to prevent mineral buildup.
l For stubborn grime, make a paste of baking soda and water, apply gently, then rinse and dry.
Protection
l Avoid abrasive tools like steel wool, scouring pads, or harsh abrasives that can scratch the finish.
l Do not use chlorine - based cleaners or bleach, as they may cause pitting or discoloration over time.
l Never leave acidic substances (like vinegar, citrus juices) on the surface for extended periods, as they can corrode the steel.
l Don’t drag heavy items across the tub, as this can scratch or dent the surface.
